Information for Patients Attending Station Road Dental Practice for appointments

Our aim during this pandemic is to make your visit safe and comply with all the current social distancing measures still in place. The following information will help you and us make your visit as pleasant and as safe as possible. We appreciate that this will seem very strange and unfamiliar to you, but these measures are necessary for now, in order to comply with NHS England’s requirements.


• Please keep in mind we will look very different to how you have seen us all previously owing to PPE requirements.

• Before leaving home please use your own toilet to try and minimise the need to use our facilities.

• Leave any unnecessary belongings behind.

• You will be encouraged to attend the practice on your own unless you are under 18 or require specific assistance.

• Please arrive for you allotted appointment time no more than 5 or 10 minutes before.

• Please park in one of the marked bays on the front of the practice and phone 01455 637141 to inform us that you have arrived and provide us with your car registration number. Or ring the bell on the porch.

• Please remain in your car and a member of our team will then collect you. They will ask you some medical questions and take your temperature. If your temperature is high or you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms, you will not be permitted into the building but alternative arrangements will be made for your treatment.

• Hand sanitising gel will be made available to you prior to entering the building.

• You will then be accompanied by one of our clinical staff into the building and asked to sign your usual NHS form (please bring your own pen with you). You will then be accompanied to the dentist who will be taking care of you.

• Following the completion of your dental treatment you will be asked again to sanitise your hands.

• If a follow up appointment is required, our reception team will book this for you.

• Please note ; Throughout this period the practice will be operating a cashless payment system.
